And so, (finally!) it happens...

Gof and I have been together for just over two years now. We have never had a serious argument, never gone to bed angry, never lied or hid something from each other. It hasn't always been easy - in fact, it hasNEVER been easy, our blossoming relationship was hit by my eviction from Tarfside Oval, and continued on through hostels I had toContinue

Holiday Hollow

I hope everyone had a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2010. 2009 has been rough for many people, our household included, but I think we're seeing some light at the end of the proverbial tunnel! At least I sure do hope so. Hubby and I both work hard to make it that way.

The GP was wonderful too and spent over two hours with them. She's been at ours ever since, her d… Continue

And I won't, until I see what the bills will amount to, so I know I can afford it on my still limited income. So even though I wanted to update more often, most of my time is spent at the flat, and it's coming along quite nicely!

I've got kitchen and bathroom flooring down (with loads of help from G!), got a washing machine, and various other kitchen stuff, including a ta… Continue

Night Before Christmas For Moms

I stumbled across this on the web & thought it was cute so I wanted to share it wit everyone.

It was the night before Christmas, when all thru the abode
Only one creature was stirring, and she was cleaning the commode.
The children were finally sleeping, all snug in their beds,
While visions of Nintendo 64 and Barbie, flipped through their heads.

The dad was snoring in front of the TV,
With a half-constructed bicycle on his knee.
So only the mom heard the reindeer hooves c
